I bought a pair of these back in March for a trip to NC. The shoes were definitely true to fit and quite comfortable. Coupled with a wet sock, the shoes kept my feet warm. However, I would not recommend these shoes for scouting and portaging. These is basically NO ankle support and the grip is not at that great. In addition there is NO heal padding / support which means that your ankles will start complaining on long paddles. I would go with 5 10 Rubber as my mentor Chris Wing of H2oDreams swears by them. I am currently using Salomon TechAmphibian 2 shoes and find them quite comfortable and supportive. Check them out at:
